Transparent & Affordable Care
Rather than being just a cost, therapy is an investment in your growth, healing, and long-term stability. You're not just paying for sessions—you're investing in a better version of yourself.
Just like physical health, investing in mental health is foundational to living a balanced, fulfilling life. The return on this investment is measured not just in dollars, but in improved quality of life.
We want you to always be informed, so below you'll find clear information about fees, insurance policies, and payment options to help you plan for your care with confidence.

Payment & Insurance
Accepted Insurance Plans: We are currently in-network with Wisconsin Medicaid (T-19, Forward Health) and United Behavioral Healthcare/Optum.
Self-Pay: This payment options allows you to maintain confidentiality and control over your treatment from insurance companies.
Out-of-Network Insurance: If your insurance offers out-of-network (OON) benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits. With this option, clients would pay for services out of pocket and superbills would be made available for clients each month to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.
Accepted Payment Methods: All major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA, cash, or checks. Payment is due at the time of service. A credit or debit card is required to be on file for late cancellation and/or no-show fees.
Sliding Scale Options – Limited availability; eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We ask for a 24-hour notice for cancellations. The 24-hour period is relative to when a session is scheduled to occur. Cancellations made prior to this window will incur no fee.
Cancellations made without a 24-hours’ notice but is prior to the start of the session will incur a $50 late-cancellation fee.
No-shows or cancellations made after the start of the session will incur the full fee for the service scheduled.
Please note that we understand that sometimes life can be unpredictable, making that 24-hour cancellation window difficult or impossible. For that reason, we offer 2 "freebies" (meaning no charge for a late cancellation or no show) per client, per year.
Why do you charge for cancellations or no-shows?
When a therapy session occurs, you are paying for the therapist's time as well as their skills. Not to mention, we are typically thinking about and planning for sessions before they occur. So when late-cancellations and no-shows happen, that is time and income that your therapist is unable to 'make up'. When we have adequate notice of a cancellation, your therapist can at least use that time productively.
Additionally, consistent engagement in therapy is in your best interest. You and your therapist enter an agreement that is focused on helping you achieve your goals. So attending your scheduled appointments is only going to help you get closer to that goal!
